LOCATION

From Washington DC & Points West Using Rt 50

• Coming east on US Rt. 50 take exit 22, Rt. 665 Aris T. Allen Blvd. This is FOREST DRIVE.
• Follow Forest Drive for about 3 miles. It will turn into BAY RIDGE ROAD (a Texaco station on your left and an Exxon on your right).
• Go two traffic signals and turn left onto EDGEWOOD ROAD, between the Giant shopping center and the 7-11 convenience store.
• Follow Edgewood around through several turns (the road name will change to Bembe Beach Road).
• You'll see the sign for PORT ANNAPOLIS on your left and then a long chain link fence with boats on stands.
• After the chain link fence, take the second left onto AWALD DRIVE. Go almost to the bottom.
• Turn right into marina parking lot.

From Downtown Annapolis Over Spa Creek Bridge

• Cross Spa Creek Bridge heading east, through the traffic signal (be in the right hand lane) and turn right at the first street after the signal (this is a right turn lane only). This is BAY RIDGE DRIVE.
• Follow Bay Ridge Drive around past a small shopping mall on your left and continue on.
• At the Texaco and Exxon stations on your right turn left on to BAY RIDGE ROAD.
• Go two traffic signals and turn left onto EDGEWOOD ROAD, between the Giant shopping center and the 7-11 convenience store.
• Follow Edgewood around through several turns (the road name will change to Bembe Beach Road). You'll see the sign for PORT ANNAPOLIS on your left and then a long chain link fence with boats on stands.

From Baltimore & Points East Using RT 2 or RT 50 From the Bay Bridge

• Exit Rt. 50 (to your right under the overpass) at the sign reading "NAVAL ACADEMY" and follow the Naval academy signs into Annapolis proper.
• After you cross the Academy Bridge, turn left at the light onto KING GEORGE STREET (the Academy will be on your left).
• At the main entrance of the Academy, turn right onto RANDALL STREET and follow to the circle.
• Go around the circle and exit onto COMPROMISE STREET (Fawcett Boat supplies will be on your left).
• Cross the Spa Creek Bridge heading east, through the traffic signal (be in the right hand lane) and turn right at the first street after the signal (this is a right turn lane only). This is BAY RIDGE DRIVE.
• Follow Bay Ridge Drive around past a small shopping mall on your left and continue on.
• At the Crown and Exxon stations on your right turn left on to BAY RIDGE ROAD.
• Go two traffic signals and turn left onto EDGEWOOD ROAD, between the Giant shopping center and the 7-11 convenience store.
• Follow Edgewood around through several turns (the road name will change but pay no attention). You'll see the sign for PORT ANNAPOLIS on your left and then a long chain link fence with boats on stands.
• After the chain link fence, take the second left onto AWALD ROAD. Go almost to the bottom.
• Turn right into marina parking lot.

Directions to the Marina by Water from the Chesapeake Bay

• ALM is on Back Creek and the entrance to the creek is between HORN POINT and BEMBE BEACH on your chart.
• Enter the mouth of the Severn River and follow the buoys to NUMBER 4.
• After number 4, take a 70-80 degree turn to PORT.
• Follow your chart carefully as there are shoals and shallow spots.
• Entering BACK CREEK you'll see the Annapolis Sailing School marina on your port. Stay to the starboard side of the channel, keeping DAYMARKER NUMBER 7 well to port.
• ALM is the only fuel dock sign on your port (the gray cape cod building with red roof). We monitor CH 9 and 16 and 72 during business hours.
